The Dell Wyse 3040 can connect to a variety of virtual desktop brokers including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, formerly XenDesktop and Microsoft RDS right out of the box. It offers better multimedia capabilities and essential protocol and peripheral support including optional PCoIP that enables connection to Amazon WorkSpaces (AWS) and a wide range of connectivity options including two DisplayPort interfaces, four USB ports, one of which is USB3.0, as well as wired and wireless network connections.

The Dell Wyse 3040 is a highly affordable thin client delivering strong performance and great value for task and basic productivity users in virtual desktop environments. Based on an Intel quad-core processor, this thin client offers enhanced performance for light multi-tasking and supports dual monitors at 2560x1600 @ 60Hz.
